Our Manufacturing Capabilities

To stay ahead, we think ahead. Which is why, we constantly incorporate best-in-class technology in our production processes. For well over a century, we have honed our engineering intelligence and expertise to develop manufacturing capabilities that are benchmarked to the highest quality standards and supported by an integrated network of services.

KBL manufactures over 75 types of pumps with EPC capabilities and a flow capacity of 120,000 m3/hr, which can easily reach up to 1,200 m. This has helped us carve a niche over our competitors in producing a wide range of energy efficient pumps on a large scale, including the smallest and the largest pumps in the world.

With 14 manufacturing facilities, out of which 7 are based outside India, KBL is well-equipped to meet the growing demands of local and global clients. KBL has 12,700 channel partners in India and 80 overseas and is supported by best-in-class network of authorised centres and authorised refurbishment centres across the country.

All our Total Quality Management (TQM)-enabled manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14000 Environment Standard certified. We are the only pump manufacturing company in India and 9th in the world to be accredited with the N and NPT certification by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Our Strength

Innovation is the back-bone of all industry verticals. At KBL, innovation forms the core of all our endeavours and we spend heavily on our R&D investment. In fact, the success of some of our innovative products, such as Lowest Life Cycle (LLC) pump series, Sodium and Canned Motor pumps for the nuclear industry, CVP pump, MSMO pump, etc., is attributed to our strong R&D investment.

KBL has always striven towards providing technology-driven innovation in customer service. Technology is the basis of our practices and we invest heavily in new technologies that add value to our products and processes. KBL owns Voxlejet 3D Printer, the only such machine in India and 5th in the world.

Through innovation, our prime focus is to reduce the cost of ownership of all our products and achieve sustained efficiency over a longer period. With 17 patents for innovative technology, including 2 US patents and presentation of several research papers at International Conferences, including American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), KBL stands tall in all engineering verticals.
